The State Wide Area Network (PSWAN)
conceptualized under erstwhile National
E-Governance Plan of Government of India, was
established in the UT of Puducherry connecting 225
offices in the year 2009 with an objective of sharing
of databases hosted in the State Data Centre via
Intranet. As
an empaneled National System Integrator with BSNL, we have successfully
executed multiple turnkey projects PAN India.
Solution
MRO-TEK Falcon-Eye series secure UTM routers was deployed based on the offered bandwidth. MRO-FE-09 was be deployed on links supporting up to 20 to 50 Mbps, MRO-FE-18 was deployed on links supporting up to 50 to 75 Mbps and MRO-FE-27 was used for links with bandwidth 350 Mbps. For future scalability purposes MRO-FE-27 with two 10G fiber port was proposed.
Falcon-Eye support rich routing and UTM features which will help provide the end customer with a fast and secure network. IPsec Tunnel can be created from branch locations to the data center as per customer requirements
Pro-active link monitoring was done by MRO-TEK NOC engineers on a 24X7. Field engineers were deployed to attend faults to maintain the SLA. NOC engineers will work in co-ordination with BSNL for fast resolution of link faults. Necessary fault escalation matrix and standard Helpdesk procedures will be followed for network monitoring and fault resolution.
