Designs and maintains CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure for MRO‑TEK's network operating system development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins) for multi-platform builds across ARM/x86/MIPS
- Build automated workflows from commit through build, test, security scan, package, and deploy, with quality gates
- Manage on-premises infrastructure and implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible
- Build and maintain Docker images and container registries; manage Kubernetes deployments for test infrastructure
- Set up monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and log aggregation (ELK/Loki) with alerting for build and infrastructure issues
- Write automation scripts (Python, Bash, Go) for infrastructure tasks and deployment automation, including staged rollout and rollback
Requirements
- 3-6 years of DevOps, build engineering, or infrastructure automation experience
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for complex software projects
- Strong Linux systems administration experience (Debian/Ubuntu, Alpine)
- Strong Docker experience — Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, buildx/buildkit, container registries
Nice to Have
- Experience with network operating system or embedded Linux development
- Familiarity with network testing tools (Containerlab, GNS3, EVE-NG) or networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
- Knowledge of supply chain security (SBOM, image signing, SLSA compliance)
- Experience with ARM cross-compilation and Kubernetes production deployments
