What Sets Us Apart
The Evolution of MRO-TEK
The Beginning
MRO‑TEK was incorporated in Electronics City, Bengaluru, on 1.7 acres of KIADB land allotted to the company, and began manufacturing line drivers and modems for India's growing digital infrastructure.
First Line Driver Products Developed
MRO‑TEK's first products — line driver equipment — were developed and brought to market, the Company's earliest step from incorporation into manufacturing.
Building the Foundation
Entered a technical collaboration with RAD Data Communications, Israel, forming the RAD-MRO Manufacturing joint venture to import and indigenise telecom technology through in-house R&D, marketed exclusively across India by MRO‑TEK.
IPO and Corporate Expansion
Acquired 3 acres at Hebbal, Bengaluru for a new corporate office and R&D unit, and completed its Initial Public Offering, listing on the BSE and NSE.
Strengthening Technology and Revenue
- Established itself as a reliable technology partner, delivering networking products, telecom infrastructure and system integration solutions to Government, Defence, Railways, Power Utilities, Public Sector Undertakings and enterprise customers across India.
- 2001 — Crossed Rs 100 crore (US$21 million) in annual turnover
- 2004 — Launched its first in-house R&D-developed product
- 2007 — Rolled out its 1 millionth product
- 2010 — Launched a new TDM (time-division multiplexing) product line
A New Phase of Growth
Mr. Aniruddha Bhanuprasad Mehta assumed leadership as Chairman and Managing Director, opening a phase of strategic transformation focused on innovation, indigenous product development and operational excellence.
