Overview
PINE-1 is an E1 inverse multiplexer enabling the transport of high-speed data broadband services over E1 links. Using G.704 and G.8040 standards to convert Ethernet to E1 by GFP format mapping, it aggregates bandwidth as Nx64 Kbps (maximum N=31) with maximum payload bandwidth of 1.984 Mbps over 10/100/1000Base-T or fibre LAN user interfaces. The device is managed locally via console or remotely through Telnet/SNMP, with Administration, Maintenance, and Provisioning (OAM&P) carried over a 16 Kbps embedded operation channel (EOC) running through the inverse link. Offers a choice of AC, DC, or AC+DC power for field deployment flexibility.
